A painting rebirthed!  Transitioning my fashion sketches into paintings was an evolution of styles and mediums. I noticed how much I loved to detail the female's face in a sketch and sought to accompany each design with a woman full of personality. I began to create a collection that focused solely on contemporary bust portraits and the unique qualities that women possess. These stylized, slightly cubistic & primitive females became affectionately known as Long Neck Ladies .

This painting is acrylic on hand-made wood panel. Sides are 2 in. deep, painted gallery white.
